One great advantage at Twin Oaks is that you are given the option of choosing between many chefs and food styles. This is a feature you may not find at other vineyards. We can suggest local catering companies to suit your needs, however the choice is yours. Many different catering options are available to you whether it is buffet style, or a full service sit-down dinner. We would be happy to assist you in finding the option to best fit your needs. Some wedding parties even choose to prepare their own food for the event.
Several different Wine, Beer, & Liquor packages are available for your reception. However we do not allow any outside beverages to be brought into the vineyard (excluding the catered beverages). Any outside beverage brought into the vineyard will be confiscated. Twin Oaks employees reserve the right to I.D. patrons and control consumption. Therefore, wine bottles and wine glasses will not be placed on the table before the event. Wine glasses will be provided upon request, but damage or theft will be the responsibility of the host. Under-aged patrons attempting to drink alcohol or use a fake I.D. will be asked to leave the premises.
You will have access to the facilities on the day before your event to start preparing the patio with decorations. You will also have access to the patio the day of your event, in order to finalize your table setting and decorating. Please inform your event coordinator of your decorating needs. No loose flower petals, confetti, birdseed, rice, or wedding rice substitutes may be used in either the tasting room, or on the grounds encompassing Twin Oaks. Candles must be either drip-less, or within a candleholder capable of containing all wax. Any adhesive materials, nails, pins, etc. used to complete decorating, will need to be discussed with your event coordinator. The host must clean up all decoration material by midnight on the night of the event, unless prior arrangements have been made with the event coordinator. Twin Oaks is not responsible for items left on the premises, and will be disposing of all leftover materials the day after the event. Our outdoor facility will accommodate smoking. No smoking is allowed inside the tasting room at any time.
Twin Oaks Vineyard has a golf cart, which will be made available at no additional charge, for the purpose of transporting wedding guests to and from their vehicles parked in the overflow parking area. A responsible golf cart driver, who is at least 14 years of age, must be pre-approved by the Twin Oaks Vineyard & Winery Management Staff. If Twin Oaks provides a golf cart driver, an additional charge of $50.00 will be required.
Twin Oaks Vineyard can suggest outside vendors for flowers, unique music, and outstanding wedding cakes. We can also provide custom labeled wine bottles, which can be used as gifts or incorporated into your table arrangements. (One case minimum wine purchase required for custom labels.) Looking for a unique gift for your wedding party? Twin Oaks specializes in creating “one of a kind” wine gift baskets to meet your needs. Please consider planning your rehearsal dinner at the vineyard. The tasting room, balcony and patio are enchanting at night. The lights reflecting off the serene lake is charming and romantic. Ask your event coordinator for details.
A final itemized bill will be made available to the host 10 days prior to the event. Our event planner will meet with you to discuss the evening in detail and to make additions or corrections where necessary, as well as discuss any special arrangements. PAYMENT IN FULL will be due at this time.
